If the 37 Revenue Assurance Manager Malene Carr-Mullings then decided to man-to-be Anthony in 2010 to get married, a journey of weight loss that would change his life began.

"I was five feet two inches tall and weighed 165 pounds," Carr-Mullings gave in an interview with the Jamaica Observer. "I wanted to lose weight for my wedding and wedding photos. It was a goal that I was serious when I was married," he said.

With her marriage in May Carr-Mullings asked a personal trainer and within three months lost 11 pounds.

"In the beginning I was out on my own work, but I felt that I was not going anywhere," Mullings said. "My friends encouraged me, a personal trainer. Center try coach, I started a food diary, he was very strict and focused on the elimination of processing, such as rice, flour and pasta, as well as the provisions of the soil carbohydrates., I had no sweets or fruit juice, especially water with lime. "

With a structured on-site program Carr-Mullings began to see results.

"At the time of my marriage, I had to change my dress, and in September of this year, I lost a total of 30 pounds," she said.

Satisfied that he had learned his goal to lose weight, know, Malene started dieting weight maintenance. "I realized that I was more comfortable working with a trainer and so started in 2012 I with a new coach, Shanique Green, who took me to a more mature level of fitness training," said Carr-Mullings. "So exercise, four times a week and I kept changing my diet is more compatible with it," he said.

"My coach has taught me to stand up Shanique acceptance of all the errors and move forward, with Shanique I lost another 10 pounds," he continued.

She now weighs 122 pounds and Carr-Mullings admitted that his weight loss journey has not been easy.

"Today I have no cravings and I do eat other foods rich in carbohydrates, envy, sometimes," said Carr-Mullings. "But (should) to reflect on what you have observed."

However, he admits that "cheat meals" helped your sanity during your approach to weight loss.

"It is also an aspect that is called, supplies that are designed to enhance the training," says Carr-Mullings.

A journey that started with the goal to lose weight for her wedding was a lifestyle.

"It is a way of life," jokes Carr-Mullings. "If I now some elements are no longer part of my lifestyle, such as fatty foods, I feel sick."

Today, the 37-year-old has managed to balance their training program with his busy schedule of a large telecommunications company in Jamaica.

"During working hours, I let it be my extracurricular activity instead of" shared. "Due to my working hours, I went to the afternoon training sessions in the morning, what better for me in the morning.

"My body is a much better place for training, the gym is quieter and am ready for the day, take" Carr-Mullings, adding that there is a school of thought that you burn more calories that are stored overnight the morning.

With a personal quest to achieve a high level of fitness discipline, Carr-Mullings training for a body building of the Jamaica Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (JABBFA) is organizing the contest.

"Based on my way and go to this point, I would like to a higher level of discipline and best results can I go to get my body," said Carr-Mullings. "I'm in the category Body Fitness to talk building muscle and the general appearance and skin color," he added.

As part of the preparation for the event on the day 4-5, increased Carr-Mullings duration and intensity of training that includes long hours at the gym. Now he's working twice a day and increased their protein intake, such as eating seven white eggs per day.

Carr-Mullings said her husband has been with him during his trip.

"My husband was very supportive and understanding of this goal," said Carr-Mullings. "While the global transformation, we should progress and pictures prepare healthy dinner."

She told the Sunday Observer, which is far from the fear of returning to their former weight and lifestyle.

"My weight loss journey has so I see a way of life, literally, as what (to do) can now assign morning," said Carr-Mullings.

"I see myself still on the aspects give it everything I have learned and by different people, which has helped me to focus," he said. "Now part of the [group outdoor fitness air] TrainFit club, I am able to achieve this.

"I (also) like group fitness instructor qualified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America," said Carr-Mullings.

Today is the packaging PE teacher part time and has asked companies such as Grace Kennedy, CB Chicken, Airport Authority, and Kier Construction. She is also the coordinator TrainFit club and for the organization of streets passports responsible.
