Hey, I know this is something that happens to everyone, but I have my first proper weight loss plateau. I always lose about 2 + months, and now I suddenly found myself no longer. It's pretty scary, but I stick with my regular weight loss regiment.

Any tips on how to fight to overcome the dreaded pan or stories about you?

The duration without weight loss? 1 weeks? Esp since you have a member since May, no longer than 6 weeks is a true plateau.

What you are experiencing is normal ... Weight loss is not linear ... you do not lose weight every week ... you can go 3-4 weeks without weight loss and still not be a tea ....

Be patient and make sure that logging is good, and if the trade mark of 4-6 weeks still not lost out registration again.

Plateau = maintenance calories.

Although since May I join, I've been working on my weight loss plan since January. The judgment was to stay every day for about 2 weeks at about the same weight. (

Is there another piece that somewhat reduce calorie intake? How is the development of the planning exercise at all?

Nope ... I was not moved for 4 weeks and the scale and I changed nothing ... then bam ... 4 pounds in 1 week.

Things can get a temporary impact on the reading scale. Sodium, stress, sleep, hormones cycle / menstruation. Keep doing what you are doing * and give it 4-6 weeks.

* If you have lost weight and was not re-evaluate your plan, you can do it. But since joining in May, you probably will not need to set your goals immediately. So that when the cap lost 40 pounds, and only ~ 10 to go, I'll include a deficit of 500 per day to 250/day deficit.

^ This one. Wait, drinking tons of water, and recognize and weigh a book or take a walk, if you believe that you are obsessed with accuracy.

If I had a job, so I have a table in Excel that my weight and also things like when I changed my exercise routine, or TOM or if I have a business trip. I do not care anymore about breaks in the weight loss, my table explains almost everything (I only lose kilos in the middle of the scale between TOM). But I'm a geek data ...

I agree.

And very briefly described.

Also: you can not keep.

No need, the amount of time I have to mention completely lost my sh! T, if the balance is not to show no progress after long periods.

Is practiced, was hungry, hangry did everything right, but there was no movement on the scale.

Oh, it has up and down nothing extraordinary to the extent that any lasting change could take swayed, however.

I feel that my body has a new look.

I lost a lot of weight, and I am very active.

I can see the muscles that could not before what means one of three things:

1) I muscle

To lose 2) I fat

Build 3) I muscle and lose fat at the same time.

I leave it to others to argue, but the fact is that my path is different, I'm regular feedback on the new definition in my back, my arms, I tremble, where you do not wear my clothes again.

But the point is not to give up.

As arrogant as it sounds, every time I look in the mirror, I'm surprised to see that person staring back at me, I swear it looks better every day.

And resists, because at one point, the scale finally stupid move.

Thanks for all the messages of inspiration. It feels a bit lacking ... maybe? after weeks and weeks of steady weight loss suddenly seems to stand still.

I will continue to do what I do and do my best to be patient. :)

I stabilized after approximately 4 months. Books flew and they do not. At all. But when I went through, suddenly fell something new. It's just not stable. It was a weight that quite afew years. Make sure your calories are set recently that the site does not tend to do this automatically and go as a challenge.

There are only three questions, as every time it is shown in this forum. Try your hand at.

Tldr: weigh, measure, specifically the Food and evaluate the more conservative exercise burns honest.

Have you taken action? A plateau is true more than 2 weeks without change in weight or measurements. Moreover, it takes 6-8 weeks for some people to regulate their body to a level of water retention, so what you see is the balance to excessive water loss when you started.

Could be many things. If you are absolutely sure that you are eating at a deficit, just wait. I recently went through a ladder and then fell more than 5 pounds in 8 days! The "Buzz" is wonderful when it happens, and gave me a new motivation to continue.

And yes, there is always a really useful contribution ...

Add some new exercise can help. I got stuck for about a month and has a Zumba class that was already doing. Weight began to come back! It could have been a coincidence, but excess calories burnt my deficit increases.

I was stuck for 2 weeks after 20 weeks still lose a pound a week, so I understand how frustrating it is! I have all the tips read here and hold me only the course and to be patient.

In addition to "sometimes the scale does not move," I know there are many little things that happen that probably explains my lack of kilos lost:
- A pair of parties share. Choose things like fresh fruit and grilled chicken, in small portions, but still - I had to guess how much I ate vs. poses as I get home.
- I had to change parts of my workout routine by tendinitis. My estimated calorie consumption is the same, but it is a little different activities than before.
- I have to go only two pounds, and that's only because I had the original goal of losing a few pounds vanity
- Can TMI, but a case of constipation Benin this week

I have tried all these things individually and the weight loss is maintained, but taken together, I think, not wonder if the scale stuck. Hoping for a breath every day since my (reliable than 20 weeks) in mathematics, which constantly met my deficit every day.

Edited to add: I changed from a 1 lb / week to 0.5 lb / wk. Both the change in a short period of time.
