His daughter was a key factor for success. Here is what she shared with us: Hello, my name is Barbara and I am on a journey to get fit. My journey began after a shoulder surgery last year. My daughter, Anyika started a fitness boot camp class and thought that stretching exercises help me. I'm 5 feet tall and weighed about 170 pounds. Won at 177, but I've lost 10 pounds after my surgery. After working for a few months, I found out that I type II diabetic, and I panicked. In the meantime, my daughter, Anyika Zumba certified. When the doctor told me I was a type 2 diabetic, I cut back on sweets much. I learned to eat in small portions, with 3-4 meals a day including snacks of fruit or vegetables.
I did not take my pills for high blood pressure more, and I feel much better. My blood pressure was still high, but is now normal. I have back problems, but extends also to help me.
